Notification of Request For Proposals

AIM Photonics Phase 1 and Phase 2 Equipment TAP  Facility Rochester, NY

The Research Foundation for the State University of New York (“Foundation”), acting on behalf of The State University of New York Polytechnic Institute as the administrator for the Integrated Photonics Institute for Manufacturing Innovation operating under the name of the American Institute for Manufacturing Integrated Photonics (“AIM Photonics”) is seeking qualified, responsive and responsible bidders to provide proposals for equipment to establish a Test, Assembly and Packaging (“TAP”) facility in Rochester, NY.

RFP Instructions and Guidelines

Original Equipment Manufacturers or their affiliates may request a Confidential Disclosure Agreement (“CDA”) and Request For Proposals (“RFP”) package by emailing the RFP designated contact, Brent Lombard at blombard@sunypoly.edu. The email should have the subject line “AIM Photonics CDA/RFP Request” and the email should indicate the RFP number(s) you are interested in receiving.

The Phase 1 CDA and RFP package will be available August 30, 2016 through September 16, 2016.  A CDA must be signed and delivered to Foundation prior to Foundation releasing the RFP package.

The anticipated release date for Phase 2 is to occur in the remaining weeks of September. Please stay tuned.  A CDA must be signed and delivered to Foundation prior to Foundation releasing the RFP package.
