AIM Photonics Summer Academy 2019
Fundamentals of Integrated Photonics: Principles, Practice, and Applications
Week of July 22-26, 2019
Come to MIT this summer for a week of intensive short courses on integrated photonics: materials, devices, EPDA software training and integrated photonic circuit design, chip fabrication, packaging, testing, and system applications.
US laws and regulations prevent MIT from allowing persons ordinarily resident in certain countries and regions from participating in AIM Summer Academy. Consequently, individuals ordinarily resident in Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea region of Ukraine may not register. In addition, persons listed on the Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Parties list maintained by the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control and the Entities List maintained by the U.S. Department of Commerce are prohibited from participating.
If you have questions about registration, please contact Julie Diop.
Available education tracks:
Short courses on photonic integrated circuit systems-level drivers, materials & devices, Process Design Kit, chip fabrication and manufacturing, process variation, integrated photonics area applications, chip packaging and optical/electrical test characterization.
Applied PIC Design
Training workshops in photonic integrated circuit design with AIM-compatible automated software, integrated photonics area applications, chip packaging & test characterization. (Participant vendors - Synopsys, Lumerical, Mentor, Cadence)
